KVK Kokrajhar organised an awareness cum method demonstration programme held on 21.11.2024 on the topic "Natural farming for Eri silkworm host plant" at Pokalagi village where Eri silkworm food plantation programme was carried out.More than 25 no.s of farmer and farm women were participated. Method demonstration was given on preparation of jeevaamrit, beejaamrit, neemastra and agniastra were practically demonstrated among the farmers. The programme was initiated by Smti Porna Sarmah SMS community science under the guidance of senior scientist and head,Dr Sunil Kumar Paul. The method demonstration on preparation of jeevaamrit, beejaamrit, neemastra and agniastra was demonstrated by Sri Santanu Khaushik Bora SMS Agronomy.VCDC member and Goan burdha were also present in the said programme.
